What is the Wholly Grail?
What is the potent medicine within you that cannot wait to be shared in service of the greater whole?
Whom does the Grail serve?
This is the magical question that is central to the Arthurian legend Perceval, the Story of the Grail. The Fisher King ~ who is both the protector and the physical embodiment of the land he serves ~ has a wound that will not heal. As a result, the people have been falling ill and the land has degraded into the parched Wastelands.
It has been prophesied that a young knight (Perceval) would come along and ask one question ~ a question so powerful that, when asked, would instantly heal the ailing king and restore the entire realm to its former glory of health, abundance and thriving.
Alas, Percival must go on the archetypal Hero’s Journey before he ultimately embodies the wisdom required to earnestly ask this transformative question.
The Heart of Grail Leadership
The epic myth of Perceval perfectly captures the essence that lives at the heart of my work in Grail Leadership. For me, the Grail is not an object, a golden chalice, or a religious relic.
The Grail is the incredible, regenerative flow of life-force energy that perpetually sustains itself through the synergistic union of the polarities ~ the harmony of opposites found in the alchemical dance of the masculine & feminine, the electric & magnetic, and the heaven & earth that exist within each of us.
The Heroic Journey is the archetypal path we are innately guided to follow as we come to find what we’re capable of in the known external world (the Hero phase), shed all of what we’ve come to know about ourselves and the world through the Dark Night of the Soul, and dive deep into the abyss of the unknown (the Heroine phase) where we excavate the buried treasure of our innermost gifts.
This is the multi-faceted journey brilliantly orchestrated by our soul to support us in fulfilling our original intention for this lifetime ~ the thing we most desire to understand, experience and express ~ the true purpose that is the theme of this entire incarnation.
Once you’ve reclaimed your most authentic self and your innate gifts ~ receiving your own magic elixir ~ you cannot help but feel a deep desire to share it with those who are most needing or desiring your wisdom and talents at this particular point in their own heroic journey. That’s how this whole magnificent co-creative world is designed to operate in pristine reciprocity and mutual thriving!
How do you know when you’re tapping into the core of your essential genius? When you are so overflowing with your own wisdom and gifts that all you want to do is share them with those who are most resonant ~ without agenda or expectation.
No longer in the struggle and strife that primarily asks “How do I get what I need?”, you instead are living in the question “How can I best serve?”
This desire to serve does not stem from a wound-based energy of sacrifice and low self-worth, but is sourced from a deeply healed and integrated place where you experience an overflowing abundance of your own self-love, appreciation for the ingenious design of your unique journey, and a deeply embodied knowing of the power of your own medicine.
This is the heroic journey to become and live from your own Wholly Grail.
I cannot wait to see all the potent gifts that will be streaming from you, as you discover, reclaim and embody your essential medicine ~ sharing with a world that has {from all outward appearances} become a parched wasteland, a realm of people and land that are just waiting to be earnestly asked that one magical question….
With so much love & appreciation for you,
Holly

Thank you for embodying the simplicity of the journey as a question. I believe the word serve has too many distortions and is a biome sided. I prefer using contribute or words that embody a direction towards evolution, finding wisdom, and honoring wholeness. Thank you so much for contributing to my life and helping me realize that I am searching for my questions.😌
Your words hit so many cords in me, Holly. Beautiful to read and so familiar. Thank you for sharing this.
