You Are Not Meant to Do It Alone
You are here to be a part of something greater. Is your name etched on a seat at the Roundtable?
I began to receive strong nudges a month or so ago, sensing that it is time to gather the leaders for a powerful roundtable experience.
I felt excited at the idea and set the intention for a six-month Regenerative Impact Roundtable to begin at the end of October.
Almost immediately after setting the intention, I began to see the magic unfold. Amazing leaders began to contact me out of the blue, some having found me through articles I’d written several years ago and some being introduced to me through mutual connections.
As I connected with each one, I experienced a high degree of resonance. There was a feeling of instant recognition and familiarity, and the conversations flowed effortlessly and joyfully. These “introductory” conversations were more like reunions, as we felt the camaraderie of those who know they are part of a shared mission. I would leave each call feeling so filled with energy, enthusiasm and inspiration.
I began to see that my intention had sent out a powerful beacon, and these leaders were being drawn in, following their personal breadcrumb trail to connect with me. I could sense that some part of them knew they were meant to be members of this roundtable ~ that, at some level beyond time and space, they had already said Yes.
Of course, that doesn’t mean it’s a done deal and that these leaders will commit to joining. It’s one thing to be powerfully attracted to an experience, and quite another to move through the linear steps and mental hurdles to find yourself actually participating in it. {Is this the best next step for me? Can I afford the commitment of time, money and energy?}
I’ve learned over time to not become attached to specific outcomes, no matter how strongly I may feel about something. Perhaps these leaders were drawn to me for other reasons that may be revealed down the road, or maybe we were only ever meant to have the interactions we did for reasons we may never know.
Trust in resonance
What I have learned to trust in is the power of resonance and the Full-Body Yes.
From one perspective, this Roundtable has already been formed. My role is to sound the call, light the beacon fire, and watch what emerges ~ noting who shows up {often through a series of crazy synchronicities}, how much resonance we feel with each other, and the strength of their desire knowing that one of the seats at the Roundtable is theirs.
In many ways, this makes my job much easier. I do not need to “sell” anyone on the benefits, making all sorts of promises of what they will receive by joining {how can I possibly know what will emerge from such a potent experience?}. I simply need to share what I see shaping up, the framework, and my direct experiences of the powerful field of possibility that emerges when leaders gather in an intimate container of mutual support like this.
There is no point in trying to force anything ~ if someone is not really in resonance, the group will not be coherent and the experience for everyone will be diminished. Those who are meant to be there will be there, regardless of the external circumstances and roadblocks that seem to appear.
Regenerative leadership is an inside-out process. In this new paradigm, we do not try to bend nature to our will and make something happen. It’s more a process of witnessing what is emerging and, to the extent we can, removing whatever may be blocking the flow of what already wants to happen.
We are not designed to do it all alone
One of the amazing leaders who I connected with has now become a client ~ the epitome of my dream client. In our first private mentoring session, as she shared the story of her journey and the vision that has been moving her, I felt incredible resonance with her and her mission. And I experienced a very strong “knowing” that she would be one of the members of this Roundtable.
When I shared this with her, she loved the idea of participating as a member of the Roundtable. Like many regenerative leaders of our time, however, she has been pouring all her energy and resources into her mission {and the inner “work” required to bring a powerful vision into reality}, and felt she could not afford to participate.
Here is what she wrote to me in an email:
“I will be working very hard to get into a position to be able to do this next year, though, as I can totally see the power of it and would love to have more time to work closely with you.”
I could feel my heart breaking a bit for her ~ and all those like her who are already doing so much. I’ve been there. I spent most of my life believing that I needed to try even harder, work even smarter, to be able to afford what I desire and know is right for me.
And it even further fueled my passion for calling together this Roundtable. Because we are not here to do it alone. We are not meant to struggle and sacrifice. We are not designed to do all the things ~ especially when many of the things fall well outside of our zone of genius.
Identifying and clearing what’s in the way
One pattern I’ve been tracking for several years now is the way in which leaders who are on the regenerative path ~ here to live and lead differently ~ have been challenged financially. {I believe there is great purpose in this, but that is the subject for another article.}
From the onset of my vision for a regenerative roundtable, I’ve been holding the intention that somehow I would be able to invite these pioneering leaders into the experience without a significant expense to them. Something feels off about asking individuals, who have devoted their entire lives and resources to their mission, to pay another large amount for the privilege of contributing their genius to serve the world in a bigger way.
I have felt strongly that there is an abundance of philanthropic funding out there, and that this would “simply” be a matter of matching this need with aligned donors ~ those who see the incredible potential for amplifying regenerative impact by coming together in this co-creative way.
As part of the momentum that was set in motion a few months ago with the powerful intention for this Roundtable, I was connected to a wonderful woman who was looking to make a philanthropic contribution to a high-impact regenerative initiative.
Over the past couple of weeks, we have been in a series of conversations as she brought her open and curious heart and mind to develop a better understanding of the intention, framework and potential outcomes of this Regenerative Impact Roundtable that is now forming.
She let me know last night that she is issuing a grant that will fund a significant portion of the participation fees for each member of the Roundtable. Here is what she said in her email to me:
“I feel compelled to share with you how expansive it felt to align capital with an activity that will increase our long-term ability to thrive. It’s thrilling to get to do something sane in an insane world.”
Tears of joy sprang up as I felt the purity of her intention in making this contribution ~ knowing that this is the energy that is being infused into this high-impact experience from the very outset.
Every individual who is called to this Roundtable will be asking not “What’s in it for me?” but “How can I best serve?” Not to be confused with the extractive energy of sacrifice and martyrdom, this is a regenerative flow of energy that allows the giver to also receive in powerful ways that go well beyond a direct transactional exchange.
And I feel such a deep sense of appreciation that I now get to invite in a whole group of pioneering leaders without a financial barrier standing in the way ~ without asking them to try harder, work smarter so they can participate.
Is your name etched on a seat at the Roundtable?
The Regenerative Impact Roundtable is a six-month immersive experience for 6-12 leaders of regenerative initiatives. It’s a unique opportunity for you to sit shoulder-to-shoulder, going deep with other new-paradigm pioneers in a coherent field of synergy and mutual support, as you accelerate and amplify the impact that you and your initiative are uniquely designed to make.
Containing elements of a mastermind group, an incubator/accelerator, and a group coaching program, the Roundtable goes beyond any one of these models.
Throughout the six months, I’ll be sharing what I’ve been shown to be the core principles of co-creating in living ecosystems that are aligned with nature ~ and how they can be practically applied in each member’s initiative. In addition, every member will be sharing their unique genius and expertise in support of other members and the group as a whole.
As we deepen in trust and coherence, we will increasingly tap into the collective wisdom and the toroidal field of energy that brings forth clarity, opportunities and resources that are far greater than what any individual member could have generated on their own.
This very special Roundtable experience is by invitation only, intentionally curated to provide the greatest potential for synergy and coherence between the members. If you sense your name is on a seat at the Roundtable, schedule a 30-minute call with me to explore whether it’s a good fit.
Please note: I am also seeing an additional 6-month roundtable shaping up for leaders who do not necessarily have regenerative initiatives but want to deepen their understanding and experience of leading in a regenerative way. If you are drawn to this opportunity and are wondering whether it is for you, reach out and we’ll explore it together.
